Lifeguard Certification

Get certified to be a Lifeguard!  This class includes certifications for

• Lifeguarding
• Professional Rescuer CPR

This is a blended learning program which includes an online piece and an in-classroom piece, allowing students more flexibility to complete part of the material prior to coming to class.  Students must be at least 15 years old and able to complete the following minimum swim skills prior to participating:

• Swim 300 yards, non-stop
• Tread water for 2 minutes
• Retrieve a 10 pound brick from 8 feet of water and swim with it for 20 yards

The in-person class times are typically 3:45 - 7:00pm on Friday and 9:00am - 6:00pm on Saturday/Sunday, but actual class times will be announced to participants prior to the beginning of the session. 

The class is $305 and includes the certificate upon successful completion. Students must be present for all in-person hours and must pass the Red Cross tests in order to receive certificate.
